A 5-week sculpture course to create nature-inspired sculptural work/s using found and recycled materials, including wire, wood, metal, paper, natural debris, and fibres.  Focused on assemblage sculpture, constructing rather than carving away, you will explore line, form, colour, texture, spatial relationships and the concept of transformation, using a range of 3-d skills.

The aim is to explore and experiment with creative ideas, processes and media (industrial and organic), and develop new skills including wirework, making and using botanical dyes, papier mâché techniques, among others. You will research and make connections with other artists' work, gain confidence, develop your creative 'voice' and complete one or a series of sculptures.

Suitable for mixed abilities: beginner to intermediate.

There is an additional charge of £5 for materials.
