Please note there will be a 2 week break for half term on 20th and 27th Feb - the last session will therefore be 2nd April.
Suitable for complete beginners or interested amateurs the course could also provide a good base on which to build for anyone interested in an interior design career. No previous experience is necessary.

A fun and exciting course that mixes practical tasks and a little basic theory - kick start your knowledge and be inspired to re-design your home. Colour theory, colour schemes, technical drawing, pattern and texture and how to create innovative mood boards are just some of what you'll learn on this course.

Colour basics and how to use colour
Pattern and texture to enhance a space
How to create the right mood and style for you
Lighting and creating an atmosphere
Space planning, ergonomics and scale drawing
Accessorising your scheme
Tricks of the design trade — how to get the most out of your designs; common mistakes and how to avoid them
By the end of the course, participants will have:
Gained the confidence to design small interior spaces
Learned to do room plans and sections
Confidence to use colour in interiors
Improved drawing skills
Been introduced to a range of materials and finishes
Learned to use lighting to create different atmospheres in interiors.
