The history books are full of people whose names echo down millennia and whose achievements have helped shape the world we live in. But behind many of these iconic figures, such as Florence Nightingale, Charles Darwin and Neil Armstrong, are others, overlooked or forgotten by history. Their achievements, if events or circumstances had been different, would have been significant enough to be equally lauded today.
This ten-week course will reveal several of these parallel lives and reinstate them back to their rightful place in the historic record.
