My name is Cinzia and I am originally from Cremona in Lombardy, and, after the last few months' news, I am sure you have heard of it. I have a BA in Modern Languages and Literature from the Università degli studi in Florence.
I have been teaching in the UK for over 10 years at a variety of levels and purposes. I tend to use a mix of different didactic approaches aim to develop all the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). I try to provide this in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere which will make your learning enjoyable and hopefully increase your confidence about the language so, when you go to Italy, you feel confident about "having a go".
Beginner Course, 12 weeks on Mondays (10.00 – 11.30)
This is designed for students who don't know the language at all or just few words. During the course you will learn how to introduce yourself or a family member, talk about your likes and dislikes, order food and drinks. You will also be able to understand telling the time and start to describe a simple daily routine.
Beginner Course Part 2, 12 weeks Wednesday (10.00 -11.30)
This is suitable if you want to expand your knowledge of the language. The lesson will be on speaking, discovering new vocabulary and new structures as well as listening and reading activities.
Level 3, 10 weeks Monday (13.00-14.30)
This course will provide further structures and vocabulary and therefore you need to have followed the beginner course part 1 and 2 to be able to attend. We will learn more complicated structures but in a fun way and touch some literature pieces. Learners will continue to practice the four language skills of reading, listening, speaking and writing.
