Esther Hudson
New to Frome, I am a teacher, writer and arts facilitator with many years' experience delivering drama and creative writing courses through Arts and Education centres in the North West.
I write novels, plays and poetry and hold a doctorate in English and Creative Writing (MMU) and have taught both subjects to postgraduate level. Originally from Wiltshire, much of my writing has been inspired by the unique landscape of the North Wessex Downs and considerations of 'place' are usually my starting point for fiction: what could happen here, to whom, and why? I was once an actor and enjoy nothing more than making work fun and bringing out the creative side in my students.
I'm looking forward to finding out more about Frome and meeting some of its numerous artistic inhabitants!
